Very fine day, but far more wind than I like, &amp; sea too. \u2015 Returned at 2 &amp; packed up. \u2015 Dined solo at 4. A Russian Prince \u2015 Tradbetsky &amp; an English gent &amp; lady at the table d\u2019h\u00f4te: the latter I seem to have seen before. \u2015 At 7 I took a fiacre &amp; came to the \u201cQuirinale.\u201d \u2015 Berth at end of the Steamer &amp; very horrid. \u2015 But the wind is high &amp; dreadful to look onward to, so at 10, I went to bed. O! Lord! how I repented doing so at 10\u00bd \u2015 by wheel we had left the harbour.
