Breakfast \u2015 & afterwards talk & singing. Mrs. Campion<\/a> is like Mrs. E. Hornby<\/a> in old days. \u2015\u2015 At 9\u00bd J.G.B.<\/a> went \u2015: a good man \u2015 but I would rather see him in better health. \u2015 The little boy is a dear little chap. \u2015 At 11 Mr. Campion drove me to Hassocks Gate, & so Rail to Brighton . \u2015 Thence I called at the house (18 New Steyne) the C.s<\/a> used to live in \u2015 but all were gone, & no clue. \u2015\u2015\u2015 Retrurned to station \u2015 lunch: \u2015 & at 2 rail to Emsworth \u2015 great storm & rain. Fly to Littlegreen. \u2015\u20151<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n Very lovely trees \u2015 & recollections of days \u2015 apparently just gone by \u2015 yet they are 25 years old. \u2015<\/p>\n Found Lady Hornby wonderfully well \u2015 & the dear old Admiral<\/a>, though blind, most cheerful. Maria & Lucy at home: \u2015 after dinner , the 2 Phipps \u2015 & a fine nice boy of Sir W.
