But I had somehow resolved to go to Sta Deca<sup><a href=\"#footnote_0_47\" id=\"identifier_0_47\" class=\"footnote-link footnote-identifier-link\" title=\"Aghii Deka.\">1<\/a><\/sup> to draw a bit of rock with Mt. S. Giorgio beyond, so at 11\u00bd \u2015 I could not get out before \u2015 off I set. \u2015 What lots of Turkeys come in at this time. There were some clouds today \u2015 but it was very bright, \u2015 &amp; ice was in all the ditches. A pull up to Sta Deca, &amp; after that I lost my way &amp; had a particularly tough haul up to the place I was bound to. \u2015 There, coming about 1\u00bd \u2015 or 2 \u2015 I drew about 2 or 2\u00bd\u00a0 hours \u2015 when it grew cold, &amp; I came down, walking hard &amp; stoplessly to town \u2015 by 6\u00bd \u2015 or so. Bright stars. Dinner, &amp; Melchisedek&#8217;s pipe.
