At 11 went to Hunt<\/a>\u2019s \u2015 paid him 7.8.4. \u2015 & took leave of him & Stephens<\/a>: H.H. is going on now with his picture, Neville having paid him for the little landscape. There is much sad & miserable yet about the A.M.<\/a> affairs. \u2015 Omnibus \u2015 to the City. Mrs. & Mrs. Bill<\/a> & James Salton<\/a> \u2015 where I lunched. \u2015 Then to W. Nevill<\/a> \u2015 & took leave of him & the 2 boys. \u2015 Then to Paternoster Row & for other shoppings, & came home at 5. \u2015 Dressed at 6.15 & back to Beadon<\/a>\u2019s. Mrs. B. has a son \u2015 (the 3rd alive out of 18! in 17 years & a half!! \u2015) W.F.B. alone, talk of Capri. Afterwards of the 3 pictures, wh., as in the one other case in which I wrote to offer\u00a0 a picture \u2015 Popham, \u2015 I regretted having offered. W.F.B.\u2019s circumstances, \u2015 & much else: which\u00a0 I don\u2019t write. Afterwards we had a long talk, & at 10 I came away.
