Very fine ― & warmer. Rose at 9. ―

Breakfast dully. ―― Wrote & read. ― At 1 Lady W. & talk. Then lunch ―”but pork goes [on] for [ever]”

Then Lady W. & C.F. ― W.B., Miss Bolton & I walked to Teddington & thorugh Bushy Park, (where we saw a demented Ass, ―) & home: ― pleasant walk, but W.B., & Miss B. bored me. ― From 4½ to 5½ sang to Lady W. ― Dinner ― interrupted & finally somewhat up by sudden departures.

Mr. H. & Lady W. went off at 6. C.F. & I at 6¾. He is much excited, & hardly tried. ――

Rail to town. ―――Many letters. ― Wrote.

After I was in bed & fast asleep ― Charles Wynne came! ― but I was too tired to wake up.
